"Let me tell you this: Whatever decision you take in a game, where you have to adjust the design to make the player pay or do something that makes you want him to pay money, that is wrong, if you ask me. If you make a game [with the goal of telling] a story, I think it is wrong," Fares said.

He added that a big CEO that runs a company will probably call him stupid as big companies "are about making money." But for Fares, gaming is art, which is why he will not add support for NFTs in the foreseeable future.

Peter Molyneux, the creator of Fable and Godus, does not share Fares' opinion as his company is developing a new game that incorporates the mechanics of NFTs and cryptocurrencies. The new game called "Legacy" is a business simulator based on blockchain technology.
