LINE NEXT, the Web3 division of the popular messaging app, has partnered with blockchain platform Kaia to launch "Project Unify," an ambitious stablecoin superapp, according to decrypt.

Designed to bridge traditional finance and digital assets, the app will integrate cross-border payments, remittances, and spending rewards into a single, seamless interface.

The service will support stablecoins pegged to a wide range of major Asian currencies, including the Japanese yen, Korean won, and Thai baht, in addition to the US dollar.

This strategic approach positions LINE to leverage its huge user base across Asia and become a dominant player in the region's digital payments landscape, offering users the ability to transfer funds via chat and earn rewards for deposits and spending.
