This measure was one of the key topics of Tuesday's meeting between UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
The meeting was attended by representatives of major financial institutions and crypto companies, including Bank of America, Barclays, Circle, Citi, Coinbase, and Ripple.

The planned cooperation has been welcomed by industry leaders. Cassie Craddock, Ripple's managing director for the UK and Europe, said it has "the potential to set a template for international cooperation in our industry," highlighting the UK's potential to become a leading hub for digital assets.
