The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has launched a "crypto sprint" to implement the recommendations of the Trump administration's recent report on digital assets.
CFTC Acting Chair Caroline Pham announced Friday the agency will collaborate with the SEC, including Chairman Paul Atkins and Commissioner Hester Peirce, on the newly unveiled "Project Crypto."
These initiatives follow the 18 recommendations of the President's Working Group on Digital Asset Markets, two of which directly task the CFTC with clarifying cryptocurrency regulations, DeFi registration rules, and adjustments to blockchain-based derivatives.
