A solo Bitcoin miner took home the full reward of 3.125 BTC ($372,773) after successfully mining block 907,283 on Saturday.
The block, processed through the Solo CK pool, included 4,038 transactions and $3,436 in fees.
Despite the skyrocketing hashrate and difficulty of Bitcoin, which favor large mining operations, this is the second solo mining victory in 2025.
In February, another independent miner secured a block, followed by a victory in July by a miner using only 2.3 PH/s of computing power.
These rare victories demonstrate that even individual miners can continue to compete with industrial-scale companies in the increasingly competitive Bitcoin mining landscape.
