CoinShares Wins a MiCA License in France

CoinShares, one of Europe's leading digital asset investment companies, has obtained a MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) license through its French subsidiary, CoinShares Asset Management.

The approval, announced on Wednesday, makes CoinShares the first asset manager in continental Europe to be fully regulated by MiCA.

The company, known for its crypto ETPs, has expanded its presence in the United States since acquiring Valkyrie Funds in 2024.

With this license, CoinShares now holds three key European regulatory authorizations: MiCA, MiFID, and AIFM.
