The Arizona Senate revived a bill on Bitcoin reserves on Thursday after a close 16-14 vote in favor of reconsideration.
House Bill 2324, which would establish a state fund to manage confiscated digital assets, was previously rejected in the House on May 7.

The motion for reconsideration was introduced by Republican Senator Jane Shamp, who had initially opposed the bill.
The vote largely followed party lines, with only one Republican, Jake Hoffman, breaking ranks to vote against it.

The bill now returns to the House of Representatives, where it needs majority approval to reach Governor Katie Hobbs' desk.
