Bybit Secures MiCA License in Austria

Bybit has obtained MiCA license from the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA), marking a key milestone in its expansion into the European market.

With this approval, Bybit EU can now operate as a regulated crypto asset service provider (CASP), offering its services in the 29 member states of the European Economic Area (EEA).

As part of its strategic growth, Bybit has officially established its European headquarters in Vienna, Austria, the company announced in a press release on May 29.

This development allows Bybit to serve nearly 500 million Europeans under the unified regulatory framework of MiCA, which aims to improve market consistency, combat illicit activities, and protect consumers.
