Binance has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kyrgyzstan’s National Agency for Investments to establish a crypto payments infrastructure and promote blockchain education in the country.
The MOU was finalized during the first meeting of the Council for the Development of Digital Assets, which was attended by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, it was announced in a press release on May 4.
Under the agreement, Binance will introduce Binance Pay in Kyrgyzstan, facilitating crypto transactions for both visitors and residents.
The partnership also emphasizes educational collaboration, with Binance Academy partnering with government agencies and financial institutions in Kyrgyzstan to create blockchain-focused learning programs.
