Rick Wurster, CEO of Charles Schwab Corp, said the company plans to launch spot Bitcoin trading services for its clients in April 2026.

RIABiz notes a 400% increase in traffic to Schwab's crypto site, highlighting investor interest in digital assets. Wurster has stated:

"Our expectation is that with the changing regulatory environment, we are hopeful and likely to be able to launch direct spot crypto. Our goal is to do that in the next 12 months, and we are on a great path to be able to do that."

Wurster's statements underscore the trend of traditional financial institutions embracing cryptocurrency products, bridging the gap between digital assets and traditional finance.
