Cboe BZX Exchange, a US exchange, has applied for approval to list a proposed Fidelity ETF that holds Solana, according to documents filed March 25.
The application is currently being reviewed by the SEC, which must approve it before the Fidelity Solana Fund can trade on the exchange. The filing is part of a broader wave of applications from exchanges and fund sponsors that want to launch ETFs with SOL and other cryptocurrencies.
Earlier, on March 12, Cboe filed an application to list another SOL ETF sponsored by asset manager Franklin Templeton.
Cboe's application follows the launch of an ETF by Volatility Shares, an asset manager, which uses futures to track SOL spot performance.
