Mt. Gox Moves $1 Billion in Bitcoin

Defunct crypto exchange Mt. Gox has recently conducted its third major Bitcoin transaction in less than a month, moving 11,501 Bitcoins.

Arkham Intelligence, a blockchain analytics firm, alerted the community on March 25 through X.

It revealed that the Japanese platform transferred 893 Bitcoins, worth approximately $78 million at current prices, to its cold wallet (1Jbez), and another 10,608 Bitcoins, valued at about $929 million, to a different wallet known as the Mt. Gox change wallet (1DcoA).

This latest move follows earlier transactions of 12,000 Bitcoins, worth more than $1 billion, on March 6, and another 11,833 Bitcoins on March 11.
