Asset manager Canary Capital has filed an application to list a Pengu ETF (PENGU), the governance token for the Pudgy Penguins NFTs project, according to US regulatory documents.
This ETF is one of several investment products filed in the US related to spot cryptocurrencies, including altcoins and memecoins.
The filing indicates that the ETF will hold spot PENGU and a variety of Pudgy Penguins NFTs, making it the first US ETF to include NFTs if approved.

The filing also states:
"The Trust will also hold other digital assets, such as SOL and ETH, that are necessary or incidental to the purchase, sale and transfer of the Trust’s PENGU and Pudgy Penguins NFTs."
