Representatives of President Donald Trump's family have reportedly entered into talks with Binance to acquire a stake in the exchange.

According to a report in The Wall Street Journal on March 13, Binance approached representatives of Trump's family in 2024 with an offer as part of a strategy to resume Binance.US operations in the United States.

Sources familiar with the situation indicated that Binance founder Changpeng Zhao - who spent four months in a US prison - has been advocating for a pardon from the Trump administration.
