Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken is contemplating an initial public offering (IPO) in early 2026, Bloomberg has reported.
The company believes the regulatory landscape in the United States has changed enough to make an IPO viable.
Previously, like many in the digital asset sector, Kraken came under the SEC's microscope during the Biden administration.
However, the SEC has scaled back its legal actions in the early months of the Trump administration, announcing in March its intention to drop the lawsuit against Kraken.
