Cryptocurrency exchange Uphold has relaunched staking services in the United States, attributing the move to changes in regulatory policies and a more favorable stance toward digital assets.
After reintroducing crypto staking in the UK in early February, Uphold has just announced it has now brought the feature back to the US.
Starting March 3, 2025, Uphold users in the US will once again be able to earn staking rewards on 19 crypto assets.
Uphold's decision to resume staking is due to laxer cryptocurrency regulations in the US, and the SEC's withdrawal of several cryptocurrency cases, including Coinbase’s.
