Nasdaq has just filed an application to list a Grayscale ETF that holds DOT, the Polkadot network's native token, according to filings.

The filing is among numerous applications submitted to the SEC by platforms and asset managers seeking to list ETFs associated with altcoins.

Before listing can begin, the SEC must review and approve these applications.

Grayscale already offers two spot Bitcoin ETFs and one spot Ether ETF. The company also intends to launch ETFs that hold Solana, Litecoin, XRP, Dogecoin, and Cardano.

In addition, the asset manager is seeking authorization to list an ETF containing a diversified portfolio of cryptocurrencies, including various altcoins.
