If approved, the Franklin Crypto Index ETF will give investors exposure to current Bitcoin and Ether prices in a single fund on Cboe BZX Exchange, with their weightings based on their market capitalizations.
The initial filing shows the ETF will primarily hold 86.31% BTC and 13.69% ETH, and will be rebalanced and updated quarterly. This announcement comes shortly after Bitwise filed for a similar product, the "Bitwise Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF."
