MicroStrategy has recently announced that it purchased 1,070 BTC in the last two days of 2024.
In a Jan. 6 statement, the company disclosed that it spent approximately $101 million in cash on Dec. 30 and 31 of that year.
According to an SEC filing, the average price per Bitcoin for this acquisition was about $94,004.
MicroStrategy has not made any other Bitcoin purchases since Dec. 31, according to its latest Form 8-K filing.
This latest acquisition brings the total Bitcoin held by MicroStrategy to 447,470 BTC, acquired for approximately $27.97 billion at an average price of $62,503 per BTC as of January 5.
