Cyprus' financial regulator (CySEC) has announced the extension of the suspension of FTX's European division for a further six months. This comes just days before the two-year anniversary of the crypto exchange's bankruptcy.

On November 5, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) stated that the suspension will remain in place until May 30, 2025, meaning that FTX EU is still prohibited from providing services, accepting new customers or advertising.

However, the company can still conduct transactions and return funds to its customers.

This is the fourth time the suspension has been extended since CySEC first ordered FTX to cease operations on November 11, 2022.
