The now defunct crypto exchange Mt. Gox has moved around 12,000 Bitcoins to a new unknown address.

In the transaction, which occurred on August 20, 12,000 Bitcoins (valued at $709.4 million) were sent to an empty address.

In addition, 1,265 BTCs were transferred to another address labeled as a Mt. Gox cold wallet by Arkham Intelligence.

This significant move could indicate Mt. Gox is preparing to distribute more Bitcoins to its creditors, who have been waiting for compensation since the exchange was hacked and collapsed in 2014.
