Asset manager Bitwise has just announced the acquisition of London-based cryptocurrency investment firm ETC Group.
The deal marks Bitwise's entry into the European market.
ETC Group brings a wealth of experience and a substantial asset base to the partnership, with more than $1 billion in assets under management.
The firm's product line includes a variety of exchange-traded cryptocurrency products (ETPs) covering major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
With the addition of ETC Group's nine European-listed ETPs, Bitwise's total assets under management now exceed $4.5 billion.
