The Venezuelan government has taken steps to block access to Binance as well as other online services amid protests over the controversial presidential election results.
Local anti-censorship organization VE sin Filtro reported on August 9 that DNS blocking has occurred on Binance, preventing its normal operation on both the website and mobile app.
Similarly, Binance's Latin America-focused X account acknowledged on August 10 that several company websites in Venezuela, including social media platforms, have also experienced restricted access.
Binance reassured its users that their funds are safe and stated that they are closely monitoring the situation to address it as quickly and effectively as possible.
