MicroStrategy has recently announced the acquisition of an additional 12,222 Bitcoins for $805 million in the second quarter, bringing the total amount of Bitcoins held to 226,500 BTC.
This current holding is valued at $14.7 billion based on current market prices.
During its second quarter earnings presentation, MicroStrategy reported significant losses of $5.74 per share on quarterly revenue of $111.4 million, down 7% year-over-year.

The company also disclosed a net loss of $123 million for the quarter, a slight improvement from a net loss of $137 million in the second quarter of the prior year.
MicroStrategy also disclosed it had acquired its total Bitcoin holdings at a cost of $8.5 billion, with an average price of $36,821 per Bitcoin.
