A crypto wallet linked to the defunct cryptocurrency exchange Mt. Gox has transferred 32,371 Bitcoins (worth about $2.13 billion) to an unknown address.
This comes after creditors who used Kraken received their payments into their accounts yesterday.
Mt. Gox also sent a substantial amount of Bitcoins yesterday, worth about $2.8 billion, to a new address.
This type of transfer is often a precursor to large transfers of Bitcoins to centralized exchanges to facilitate payment to creditors.
In addition, Mt. Gox has reportedly started sending Bitcoins to Bitstamp, which has stated that it will distribute the funds to claimants as soon as possible.
