According to the most recent report from CoinShares, asset managers such as Ark Invest, Bitwise, BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, ProShares and 21Shares saw a combined net inflow of $1.44 billion into global cryptocurrency investment products last week.
This marked one of the largest weekly inflows ever recorded and brings total inflows for the year to a record $17.8 billion.
In addition, the increase in digital asset investment products reflects continued buying even during periods of price weakness, as described by CoinShares head of research James Butterfill.
These figures far exceed the $10.6 billion net inflows recorded during cryptocurrencies' bull run earlier in the year.
