Crypto exchange Mt. Gox, which lost 850,000 Bitcoins belonging to investors in 2014, will finally start refunding its defrauded users.
According to a statement issued by the platform on June 24, the Mt. Gox rehabilitation trustee will start processing refunds in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash from July.
The trustee has asked for patience from users, stating that the order of payments will be based on cryptocurrency exchanges where the required information has been confirmed.
The trustee has also confirmed that approximately $9.4 billion in Bitcoin is still owed to some 127,000 Mt. Gox victims.
