MicroStrategy acquired another 11,931 Bitcoins for $786 million, with an average purchase price of $65,883 per Bitcoin between April 27 and June 19, it reported yesterday.

This brings its total holdings to 226,331 BTC, worth about $14.9 billion.

According to the company's founder and executive chairman, Michael Saylor, all of its Bitcoins were purchased at an average price of $36,798 per Bitcoin, costing $8.33 billion including fees and expenses.

This is the latest in a series of Bitcoin purchases by MicroStrategy, including a $623 million purchase of 9,245 BTC in March, which brought its holdings above 1% of the total supply of 21 million Bitcoins for the first time.
