According to filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), two BlackRock funds have invested in IBIT, the firm's spot Bitcoin ETF.
These funds, the BlackRock Strategic Income Opportunities and the BlackRock Strategic Global Bond, have purchased shares of the ETF.
In particular, during the first quarter of 2024, the BlackRock Strategic Income Opportunities purchased nearly $3.6 million worth of IBIT shares, while the BlackRock Strategic Global Bond bought $486,000.
Since spot Bitcoin ETFs began trading in January, BlackRock's IBIT has attracted the most new capital compared to other similar products.
