BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF has become the world's largest exchange-traded fund tracking the price of Bitcoin, surpassing the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC).
On May 28, the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded inflows of $102.5 million, while GBTC recorded outflows of $105 million.
This brings BlackRock's total holdings in Bitcoin to 288,670, compared to Grayscale's 287,450, despite starting with 620,000 in January.
On May 29, a Bloomberg report stated that BlackRock's fund held $19.68 billion in Bitcoin, while Grayscale held $19.65 billion, with Fidelity's ETF trailing with $11.1 billion.
