An individual previously employed by Solana-based memecoin launchpad platform Pump.fun, and identified as the culprit in the recent $1.9 million exploit, has been arrested in the UK.

According to media reports, the exploiter, under the name StaccOverflow on X, was able to use his admin privileges to leverage flash loans and drain $2 million in liquidity from Pump.fun.

The individual, whose real name is Jarrett Dunn, has been released on bail and is currently in the UK, where he will appear in court in August.

Dunn has also made statements claiming that the Pump.fun team wrongfully accused them and is calling on UK citizens to take legal action against the company.
