Starbucks intends to discontinue its Odyssey Beta program, an extension of its loyalty program that focused on NFTs.
In a recent blog post, Starbucks announced it plans to close the program on March 31 to prepare for future developments.
However, Starbucks NFTs, known as Stamps, will continue to be available on the Nifty Gateway platform.
The Odyssey marketplace will also move to the Nifty marketplace and Stamps will remain tradable on other platforms and transferable to external wallets. The company also plans to close its Discord server on March 19, but they are considering options for a future community space.
Starbucks has appreciated the engagement and feedback from its members and hopes to use what it has learned to improve the loyalty experience for a wider audience in the future.
