The Court of Appeals of Montenegro has revoked the decision to extradite Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs, to the United States, accepting the appeal of his defense lawyers and revoking the previous judgment of the High Court on February 20.

The Court of Appeals has stated it has made the decision due to the lack of clear reasoning and evidence by the High Court in its decision to extradite Do Kwon.

Notably, this is the third time that Do Kwon, who has been charged with financial crimes in both the US and South Korea related to the collapse of the Terra ecosystem back in May 2022, has successfully appealed his extradition to either the US or South Korea.

On February 21, it was reported that the High Court had opted to extradite Do Kwon to the US and deny South Korea's request.

However, with the latest decision of the Court of Appeals, the case will be reconsidered by the first-instance court.
