Visa Starts Allowing Crypto to Fiat Withdrawals on its Cards

Visa, in collaboration with payments infrastructure provider Web3 Transak, has started enabling the conversion of cryptocurrencies to fiat money on bank cards.

This integration allows users to withdraw digital assets from wallets such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet and use them to make payments through Visa Direct.

In addition, merchants can connect their own cards to the Visa network to receive real-time payments directly.

With this solution, users will be able to easily convert their crypto balances into fiat money and spend them at millions of merchants worldwide where Visa is accepted.

Transak says the service is available in more than 145 countries and supports the exchange of more than 40 digital assets.
