Michael Saylor Sells $216M in MicroStrategy Shares

Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy, has just announced that he intends to sell a total of 315,000 shares of the company's shares valued at nearly $216 million.

He has previously said he plans to use the funds to buy more Bitcoin personally, as well as to meet "financial obligations."

During the company's third-quarter earnings presentation in November, he said:

"I was granted a stock option in 2014 with respect to 400,000 shares, which is going to expire next April."

The company's shares have seen a 21.65% increase over the past month.
