US cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has just announced the launch of a spot crypto trading service for non-US institutional investors through its international platform.

According to the announcement released yesterday, institutional clients based outside the US will have access to trade Bitcoin and Ether against the stablecoin USDC.

The platform has informed that the services, which will be launched today, will also be available to retail investors in the future. In addition, it also intends to include additional tokens and new features.

The exchange is facing a lawsuit filed by the SEC for allegedly operating as an unregistered securities exchange, broker and clearing agency.
