Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Drops

The difficulty of Bitcoin mining has experienced a 1% drop as a result of the latest recalculation and currently stands at 67.31 T.

The average hashrate for the period since the previous value change has been 480 EH/s, while the interval between blocks is just over 10 minutes.

Glassnode analysts have reported that on December 9 the 7-day smoothed moving average reached 483 EH/s.

According to Hashrate Index, the hash price is $93.1 per PH.

Crypto mining company Bitfarms placed an order late last month for the supply of 35,888 Antminer T21 mining devices to Bitmain at a price of $2,660 per unit.

This month it has become known that Riot Platforms, a US crypto mining company, intends to purchase 66,560 MicroBT miners with a total hashrate of 18 EH/s.
