Nasdaq has filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) an application on behalf of BlackRock to list the iShares Ethereum Trust, a spot Ethereum ETF.
If the application is approved by the regulator, the product will be listed on the platform.
According to the document, Coinbase will act as the ETF's custodian.

The company also filed an application in June to launch a Bitcoin-based exchange-traded fund.
BlackRock's assets under management at the end of June totaled $8.59 trillion.
