Glassnode, a crypto intelligence company, has just announced it has made the decision to abandon projects related to cryptocurrency taxes.
Glassnode announced on November 6 the sale of its crypto-focused tax platform, Accointing, to European cryptocurrency compliance provider Blockpit.
Following the sale, Glassnode intends to focus its efforts on new solutions aimed at institutional investors and decentralized finance (DeFi).
A company spokesperson has stated:
"Glassnode will exit the crypto tax space with the sale of Accointing to Blockpit."
The company has sold the solution a year after acquiring it to introduce tax filing compliance tools on its platform.
