US crypto mining company CleanSpark has increased its hashrate to 10 EH/s, a figure surpassed by only a few public companies in the industry.

According to the company, this has been made possible by optimizing software and increasing the efficiency of its devices.

The firm has been replacing legacy platforms with Bitmain's Antminer S19 XP over the past few months, which has allowed it to achieve an average energy efficiency of 27.8 J/TH.

The company announced earlier this month the purchase of the manufacturer's recently introduced Antminer S21 devices with a total hashrate of 4.4 EH/s.

These devices are expected to be delivered in early 2024. After deployment, the company's capacity should reach 20 EH/s.

Of publicly traded mining companies, the company is outperformed by Riot Blockchain with 15 EH/s and Marathon Digital with 19 EH/s.
