The Fantom Foundation has suffered a hacker attack in which an attacker has gained access to one of the organization's wallets "via a Chrome zero day," representatives of the organization have confirmed.

According to them, the losses amount to "hundreds of thousands of dollars". However, most of the assets have not been affected because they are stored in cold wallets.

Representatives of the organization have assured:

"We are actively tracking the movements of lost funds."

The co-founder of the foundation, Andre Cronje, has highlighted the assets of one of the employees have been affected.

The attacker's wallet has accumulated 4,500 ETH valued at around $7 million.
