Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Reaches an All-time High

The difficulty of Bitcoin mining has experienced a 0.35% increase as a result of the latest recalculation, reaching a high of 57.32T.

The average hashrate for the period since the previous value change has reportedly stood at 410.27 EH/s, while the interval between blocks is practically 10 minutes, which marks the protocol.

According to Glassnode analysts, the 7-day smoothed moving average peaked at 427.15 EH/s on September 20. This was then corrected and currently stands at 414.55 EH/s.

According to the hashrate index, the hash price is $62.24 per PH/s per day. Compared to the value at the date of the last difficulty recalculation of around $65.5, the metric has fallen by approximately 5%.

Last October 2, when BTC broke through the $28,000 level, the metric recorded an all-time high of $63.75 per PH/s per day for nearly two weeks.
