Hackers Steal $870,000 from Mark Cuban's Crypto Wallet

Hackers have stolen around $870,000 from one of billionaire Mark Cuban's crypto wallets, billionaire Mark Cuban has confirmed to DL News.

User X WazzCrypto was the first to draw attention to the incident. He reported that all assets were removed from a wallet that had been inactive for 160 days.

Cuban has said:

"I went on MetaMask for the first time in months. They must have been watching."

According to Etherscan data, the withdrawn assets include the stablecoins USDC and USDT, the tokens of NFT marketplaces Rarible (RARI) and SuperRare (RARE), as well as other coins.

Cuban has explained:

"I’m pretty sure I downloaded a version of MetaMask with some shit in it."

Cuban transferred more than $2 million in USDC to Coinbase in an attempt to save the funds.
