The wallet of gambling platform Stake has suffered a hacker attack, the Cyvers Alerts service team has reported.
The company's analysts have indicated the attacker received approximately $16 million in ETH, USDC, USDT and DAI.
PeckShield analysts have reported the attacker transferred 6,001 ETH, 900,000 DAI, 1.1 million USDC and 3.9 million USDT from the address. It should be noted they have not yet clarified how the unknown hacker managed to hack the wallet.
An analyst under the pseudonym ZachXBT has subsequently reported the loss of another $25.6 million.
Between January and August, losses to Web3 platforms due to the actions of hackers and fraudsters amounted to $1.25 billion.
