According to analytics platform Arkham Intelligence, a wallet linked to online broker Robinhood holds a total of 26,081 BTC, valued at around $3.09 billion.
In terms of number of coins, the management ranks third after the wallets of crypto exchanges Binance and Bitfinex, which have accumulated $6.4 billion and $4.3 billion in BTC.
Robinhood has transferred 118,300 BTC from other addresses over a three-month period. The first transactions took place on March 8, after which, by July 14, subsequent transactions for larger amounts followed.
The wallet has attracted market attention in recent months, prompting various speculations about the identity of its owners. The community linked the management to both BlackRock and Gemini.
