Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, has sent 600 ETH ($1 million) to US crypto exchange Coinbase.

The transaction has been made after the market crash at the end of last week and has attracted the attention of industry participants.

Some believe the transfer is related to plans to sell assets and a new dumping.

Ethereum has lost about 10% of its value over the past week.

The day before the transaction took place on Coinbase, Buterin closed a 251,000 RAI position on the MakerDAO platform and withdrew 1,000 ETH.

This is not the first time Buterin has sent assets to a centralized exchange. For example, in March, he deposited 200 ETH in Kraken.
