Employees of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seized $1.7 million in digital assets between March and May.
In particular, the agency seized a total of $147,000 in Bitcoin, $800,000 in ETH, $307,000 in USDT, $469,000 in DAI and $20,000 in Monero.
The assets were in various directions, including wallets on crypto exchange Binance.

The largest cumulative amount of seized funds was recorded in the Eastern District of Virginia, more than $1.2 million.
According to the agency, the asset seizure has been the result of several violations of federal laws.
Last month, the US authorities moved some of the seized Bitcoins from darknet marketplace Silk Road.
