As a result, the provider will have the right to custody digital assets, to buy and sell them for legal tender, and to exchange them with each other.

The company updated its registration with the French stock exchange regulator, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), on July 19.

According to Société Générale representatives:

"Accreditation represents the highest level of regulatory certification currently possible for digital asset transactions."

It is worth noting that currently around 90 companies are already on the AMF's list of authorized providers.
