CACEIS Bank, the company that manages the assets of Crédit Agricole and Santander, has just been registered with the French regulator as a cryptocurrency custodian.
The company has received digital asset service provider (DASP) status from France's Financial Market Supervisory Commission (AMF) to provide the services it claims.

The corresponding list on the regulator's website includes regional divisions of well-known crypto players such as Binance, Luno and Bitpanda.
