The Bitcoin dominance index has reached 45.84% for the first time since July 2021.
It is worth noting that prior to this, the index reached comparable values in April at around 45%, but quickly fell to 43%, while similar figures were observed in December 2022.
The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies stands at about $1.05 trillion.

Last June 5, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued Binance and its CEO, Changpeng Zhao. The regulator filed 13 charges, including the sale of unregistered securities. The following day, the SEC filed a similar suit against US-based exchange Coinbase.
The prices of many altcoins, which the regulator equated to securities, declined shortly thereafter. However, the situation slightly affected the price of Bitcoin, so liquidity probably started to flow into the asset.
On June 14, the US Federal Reserve (Fed), kept the key rate range at the level of 5-5.25% p.a. for the first time since March last year. A decision to which the crypto market barely reacted.
